  • SILK FLOWER QUILTED WALL HANGING

    What a unique technique!  Silk flowers are actually taken apart and applied using netting and yummy sparkly fibers.  Beads and ribbons can be added as well.  Add some quilting and you will have an exquisite decoration for your wall!  Supply list needed.

    Aren’t those windowpane quilts exquisite?  Haven’t made one because of the dreaded y-seams?  Wait no more.  Geri will show you a neat technique for sewing the windowpane with one seam.  After learning this new method,  the windowpane will no longer be something to be feared.  Supply list needed.

  • INTRODUCTION TO MACHINE QUILTING

    So you’ve finished piecing your quilt top—now what? Sending your quilt to a long arm quilter  or to a hand quilter can be quite expensive.  Geri will teach you the basics of quilting on a home sewing machine, from preparing the top to be quilted to actually quilting the project.  You will learn how to stitch-in-the-ditch as well as stipple and pattern quilting.  Learn from a master quilter—you’ll be glad you did.  Supply list needed.

  • DRESDEN PLATE STACK AND WHACK

    This is not your grandmother’s Dresden plate pattern!  Using a unique cutting technique, you create kaleidoscope plates that are just gorgeous.  Each plate is different although they are cut from the same piece of fabric.  Warning:  This technique is habit forming.  You won’t be able to make just one!  Supply list needed.

  • UNDERGROUND RAILROAD

    Each month you sew a different block as you learn some history of our country during a very difficult time.  Geri takes you on a sewing journey teaching you not only how to make the block, but the historical significance behind the block.  At the end of the year, you will put the blocks together to create a treasured family heirloom.  See the gorgeous sample at the store.  Supply list needed.
